yesterday, for father's day, elena & i visited the place where we scattered mike's ashes a year and a half ago. we talked about what we miss. it was a long list, but we both agreed that we miss his jokes, his smile, his kisses & his cooking.
i really miss how calming he was for me. hopeful, gentle, resolute & reassuring.
i am constantly reminded what a better person i was when i was with him.
