Mississippi I-20W Welcome Center. Sign your name in their guest book and you get a free 6 oz. styrofoam cup of coffee. And they have a Dog Trail.
Meridian, Mississippi. Little known fact: my senior thesis in college was much about Alice Walker's Meridian.
Vicksburg, Mississippi. I am pleased to report that the Motel 6 & LaQuinta hotel chains accept those of us who travel with more than one animal of any size.
I am not pleased to report that i got a big bump on my forehead when I hit my head on the door frame whilst grabbing Rocky Canon as he attempted to escape our room.

So sorry about the bump! But otherwise it sounds like so far, so good. Continue driving safely, please. I'm going on a quilt retreat next week with Mike's T-shirts, so I should be able to make some progress, though I can't say how far I'll get. There's no way to know when I'll be finished until I'm there! Love to you and ElenaLu. ❤️
