so that those who would like to have glimpses into how and what mike & elena & i are doing, i am going to actually post on this blog, which you can probably see i have been ruminating over - as i do with most things - for a few months now. this is not to replace allison's more significant updates. this is to give me an outlet of expression as this journey continues to get harder, and to connect with y'all more intimately, if that is what you choose.
thank you for being here, and for being there for us. we could not sustain ourselves through this without you.

Thanks so much for starting this blog! Having bits and pieces of news like this is a wonderful thing for those of us (many im sure) who are so far away and wish more than anything that we were nearby during this time.

We are all praying for you and Mike and Elena constantly, and we are getting others to join us. We love you very much and just wish we could do more with and for you.
